Suspicion Over 'Character' Leads Man To Smash 19-YO Girlfriend's Head In Nagpur

They say, there's no remedy for suspicion. At times, it makes you do certain things that result in irreparable loss. In what seems to be a clear case of suspicion leading to a violent relationship, an aspiring model was allegedly killed by her boyfriend in Nagpur. According to police the accused confessed that he was suspicious of the deceased's "character".

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old, Nagpur resident Khushi Parihar. She was allegedly killed by her 21-year-old boyfriend Ashraf Sheikh.

On Saturday morning, the police received an information that the body of a woman with face crushed is lying along Pandhurna-Nagpur highway. The police officer said the identification of the victim was done through social media as the victim Khushi Parihar was an aspiring model and used to participate in local fashion shows.

According to the official, Ashraf Sheikh has "confessed" that he killed Khushi Parihar because he suspected her so-called character and closeness with some men.

It appears that Ashraf Sheikh travelled with Khushi Parihar in his car on July 12 and later allegedly killed her by crushing her head at Savli Fata near Pandhurna-Nagpur highway, the official said.

A case of murder has been registered by Nagpur (Rural) police and further investigation is underway.
