Craig Conover reveals feelings for Charley Manley

Throughout the season, viewers watched Craig navigate life after his breakup with Paige DeSorbo, whom he dated for three years before their split in 2024. During that time, he began growing closer to Charley.

Craig admitted their connection had developed quietly behind the scenes, with frequent conversations and plans to spend more time together. At one point, he even considered bringing her along on a family trip to France.

His feelings were stronger than many viewers realized, and he later confessed just how serious his interest had become. "I had a big enough crush on you, I would've picked you over my ex," he said, according to US Weekly. The comment left Charley visibly surprised.

Mexico argument changes everything

Despite the chemistry between them, their dynamic shifted during the cast's trip to Mexico. Craig became involved in a heated argument with fellow cast member Salley Carson, something Charley later admitted made her rethink the situation.

When the group reunited for the Carolina Day celebration, the tension between Craig and Charley finally came to the surface.

Charley explained that watching the confrontation changed her perspective. "My switch flipped in Mexico. I only see us as friends now."

Craig says the sudden shift was difficult to accept

The revelation clearly affected Craig, who had started to believe their relationship might turn into something meaningful.

Reflecting on the situation, he admitted that opening up emotionally had made the outcome harder to accept. "I let my guard down with Charley."

Although Charley insisted she still valued their connection, she emphasized that she now saw their relationship strictly as a friendship.

Southern Charm reunion preview hints at more tension

While the finale appeared to close the chapter on their potential romance, the Southern Charm season 11 reunion suggests their story may not be over.

In the reunion preview, Craig claims Charley once suggested she wasn't seeing anyone else while they were spending time together. Charley disputes that version of events, saying they only went on two dates.

The disagreement hints that unresolved tension between the two could resurface when the cast reunites.

Part one of the Southern Charm reunion airs on Bravo on March 18 at 8 PM ET.
